Scoring

The score is the sum of the folowing subscores: (enemies killed by a kamikaze action warrants no points)

Damage done to enemies:
- damage (counting overkill) * combo

Enemy kills:
- base enemy points * combo * rank ( * 2 if overloaded).
This score is added when the enemy explodes.

Powerups gathered:
- 10,000 points * combo * powerups gathered

Graze:
- 60 * combo * number of grazed bullets (max 5) per second


Combo is increased by:
- number of grazed bullets (max 5) * 1.875 per second


The rank ranges from 1 to 20 (unless you're on the second loop), and you cannot gain more than 0.5 rank at a time unless your weapons are overloaded.

Rank is increased by:
- 0.012% of the damage you deal to an enemy
- 1/10000 of the score you get from killing an enemy (overload multiplier excluded)
- 0.5 when you earn a capsule from grazing

Rank is decreased by:
- 4 when you lose a capsule when hit
- 1.5 when you're hit without losing a capsule


The spread deals:
13, 6-8-6, 4-5-5-5-4, 3-4-3-4-3, 13-13-14-13-13 damage per shot depending on the weapon level. Each unit fires 30 shots per second

The Laser deals:
420, 60-360-60, 60-60-360-60-60, 60-60-420-60-60, 60-60-60-720-60-60-60 damage per second depending on the weapon level.

The Homing deals:
35, 28, 24, 26, 45 damage per shot depending on the weapon level.
14, 18, 23, 23, 31 shots per second (at 50 pixels from the target) depending on the weapon level.
